“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!”
Luke 24:5–6

Recite God’s Goodness

King Jesus, You are the resurrection and the life! Blessed are You, my Lord and Savior, for conquering death with Your resurrection life! You are worthy of all my praise!

Express Your Neediness

Much like the women at the tomb, I too search for the living among the dead, and sometimes even live as one whose only life is here on earth. Forgive me. Make me more aware of Your resurrected life in me, that I may be influenced in all ways by Your resurrection power and my unswerving destiny with You.

Seek His Stillness

Scripture says that Jesus endured the cross and scorned its shame for the joy of spending eternity with His redeemed and resurrected people—and that includes you. Allow the joy of His resurrection to cause your heart to soar in joyful worship and rest in quiet adoration.

Trust His Faithfulness

Lord Jesus, because You live, I also will live with You in a resurrected body forever and ever. You have given me new birth into a living hope through Your resurrection from the dead, so I live for you alone.
