God wants our worship, and God cares about how we worship. In fact, something like stewardship is even related to worship. We see worship at the heart of the tragedy between Cain and Abel. Exodus 23:25
You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.

1 Samuel 2:2
