How can we encourage honor from kids when they may not have the language to understand? How do we teach and foster honor? Join us for today’s conversation with Dr. Chris Rapazinni for a conversation all about honoring mom and dad, and how to encourage this in our kids.
Dr. Chris Rappazini is an Associate Professor of Leadership at Anderson University in Anderson, SC. For over a decade, he served as a Professor of Pastoral Studies at the Moody Bible Institute in Spokane, Washington, and Chicago, Illinois. Chris, a Moody graduate from 2007, contributes to Moody’s monthly devotional, Today in the Word, and has authored an upcoming book titled, Moving Forward After Messing Up: How God Uses Our Past to Change the Future. He is the former president of the Evangelical Homiletics Society and previously worked as an associate minister of preaching and teaching at Southside Christian Church in Spokane. Chris, along with his wife Ashley, happily reside in Anderson, South Carolina, with their three children. Prior to becoming a parent, Chris appreciated hiking, outdoor activities, cooking, and exploring new places. Nowadays, his hobbies include playing freeze-tag in the yard and making meals that his kids will enjoy. He is a husband, dad, professor, preacher, and scholar who believes the Bible is still relevant, Godly leadership is essential, and the Church’s best days are still ahead.
