Whether you are a leader in Christian circles or in secular realms, God calls his people to work hard and care for others. While in a leadership position you have the opportunity to serve others, care for them, and do well in your role in a way that glorifies God. These verses outline some ways that Christians should act, and is especially true of leaders.
Proverbs 4:23
Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life.
Matthew 5:19
Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Romans 12:16
Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight
1 Corinthians 10:31
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Galatians 6:9–10
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Philippians 2:3
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
Hebrews 13:7
Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.
James 3:1
