Doctors and healthcare workers reflect God’s character and love for people in a unique way by caring for the physical needs of others. God cares for the needs of people so much that Jesus stated that “as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me,” (Matt 25:40). Healthcare workers can further reflect God’s character by working heartily for the Lord and not just to please man (Col 3:23). These verses emphasize characteristics of physicians’ work which God commends and highlights promises of God which they can rest in.
Proverbs 16:3
