God hates sin, but in His mercy He provides salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. Sin may keep us from God for eternity if we refuse to repent and accept the gracious gift we have in the gospel of Jesus. As followers of Christ, we are called to war against sin and pursue Christlikeness in all things. If we want to war against sin, we would be wise to know our enemy. What does the Bible say about sin?
