Students have inconsistent schedules and undoubtedly lead busy lives, but they still have the opportunity to use their means and attitudes to serve and honor God. These verses highlight how students with busy lives and preoccupied minds can still trust in God for their needs and work diligently unto Him.
Proverbs 3:5–8
Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
Be not wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your flesh
and refreshment to your bones.
Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
Proverbs 16:3
Commit your work to the LORD,
and your plans will be established.
Proverbs 28:26
Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool,
but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.
Ecclesiastes 12:11–12
The words of the wise are like goads, and like nails firmly fixed are the collected sayings; they are given by one Shepherd. My son, beware of anything beyond these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Philippians 4:6
