The Christian life is a road full of obstacles and opportunities for growth. Over time, as the Holy Spirit works in the heart and mind of the Christian, the Christian begins to transform to look more and more like Jesus. This process is often called “sanctification,” but the biblical concept of transformation isn’t limited just to the process of sanctification. Let’s see what all the Bible says about transformation.

What Does the Bible Say About Transformation?

Old Testament

Daniel 12:2
And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Joel 2:13
And rend your hearts and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love;
and he relents over disaster.
