From the very beginning, God created humans for relationship with Himself and one another. It’s not surprising, then, that one of the outcomes of our sinful world is loneliness. When we read the Bible, we encounter many people who struggled with feelings of loneliness pouring their hearts out to God and receiving his reassuring presence. Old Testament

Genesis 2:18
Then the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Joshua 1:9
