54 Bible Verses on Justice

header for 54 Bible Verses on Justice

Justness is a key part of God’s character. Throughout the Bible, justice is associated with righteousness and God’s law. God even made special provisions in His law to see to it that those in the Israelite society and the church community who were often overlooked were treated with care and justice. All of us experience the benefits of God’s justness through Jesus who died on the cross in our place and took the punishment we deserved for our sins; because of this God can now justly forgive us when we repent so that we can have relationship with Him (1 John 1:9).
